Humphrey Bear Visits the Helipad!
Earlier this year, the new, lifesaving helipad at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust opened to patients – the first of its kind in the North West!
The state of the art helicopter landing pad enables critically ill or injured babies, children and adults to be airlifted straight to our hospitals in Manchester city centre.
Thanks to our amazing supporters, we raised £3.9million to enable this helipad to be built. Humphrey Bear went to visit the helipad this festive season and met with Helipad Officer Andrew Ledwith to learn more about this amazing achievement!
