Can I donate a Christmas present to a patient in hospital?
Information about donating gifts for our patientsWe are so grateful to people like you who are generous enough to want to donate presents to patients in hospital at Christmas. We work hard to make Christmas a special time for patients in our hospitals, particularly so for our youngest patients. But, this festive season, we have a small favour to ask of you:
Instead of donating a present to a patient in hospital this Christmas, will you consider making a monetary donation to our Play Appeal?
Our Play Appeal is raising vital funds to ensure that young patients in our care have access to essential play services during their time in our hospitals, no matter what the time of year. Our play services support children and young people of all ages, from babies to teenagers, to inspire fun, curiosity and interaction, alongside helping to combat the fear, anxiety and boredom that a stay in hospital can bring.
The service is truly integral to the delivery of exceptional care for our young patients, and, with your support, we can ensure that our Play Service is able to continue delivering the very highest levels of therapeutic care.
Making a monetary donation, instead of gifting a physical item or toy, will make the world of difference to ALL of our young patients. Together, monetary donations from generous supporters like you will provide children with access to vital play therapies during their time in hospital, not just at Christmas but all year round.
Thank you for choosing to make the world of difference for young patients in our hospitals.
